What to reply when a client says yes

Confirm what they are buying in one line, put one payment link in the reply, and say what happens the moment they pay. Leave out the rest of the proposal and any second offer. In Sealrep the link comes from your own Stripe, appears once, and the reply waits for a person to approve it.

#the template

Copy it, then fill in what is true.

When to send it. When a buyer writes that they want to go ahead: “send me the invoice”, “how do I pay?”, “let’s start”.

Email

Hi {first_name}, Thank you, glad the plan made sense. Here is the link for {offer_name}: You can pay here: {payment_link} Once it goes through I will send {first_step} the same day, and we can start on {start_day} as you said. {your_name}

The variables

{offer_name}
The one thing they are buying, in the words of your offer. Not a menu.
{payment_link}
A payment link for that offer from your own Stripe. The Stripe page shows the price, so the email does not have to.
{first_step}
What you send the moment they pay: an access checklist, a brief, a kickoff invite.
{start_day}
The start they asked for, repeated back so nobody has to look it up.
#the example

Filled in, for one made-up company.

Maya at Brightwell, a paid media studio, replying to Priya at Halden Outdoor. Made-up people and companies.

They wrote“This all looks good. Can you send me the invoice so we can get started next week?”

Email

Hi Priya, Thank you, glad the plan made sense. Here is the link for the two-week ad account review: You can pay here: https://buy.stripe.com/test_example Once it goes through I will send the access checklist the same day, and we can start on Monday as you said. Maya

Example data
#the checks

Passes Sealrep’s checks. The real output.

The example and both variants were run through the same checks Sealrep runs on its own drafts before a person sees them, on 2 October 2026, with Sealrep’s rules for a reply: 5 to 150 words, at most one question, no links except the exact booking or payment link, each at most once, no spam words, no AI tells and no dashes.

Each draft was given the context Sealrep gives its own: the facts a first email may use, or the message a reply answers, the times offered and the one link it may carry. A number no fact backs shows as information, not a block, the way the free checker shows it.

#two variants

The same job, from a different starting point.

They need an invoice, not a link

Some finance teams can only pay against an invoice with their details on it. Offer both in one reply.

They wrote“Our finance team needs a proper invoice with our VAT number on it.”

Email

Hi Priya, Of course. Send me the company name, billing address and VAT number and I will send an invoice today. If a card is quicker for you, this link takes payment for the same review: https://buy.stripe.com/test_example Maya

They named one of two offers

When you sell more than one thing and they picked one, send the link for that one only.

They wrote“Let’s go ahead with just the landing page rebuild for now.”

Email

Hi Priya, That works. Here is the link for the landing page rebuild on its own: https://buy.stripe.com/test_rebuild I will send the brief template as soon as it is paid, so we can start on the copy straight away. Maya

#when not to use it

Skip it when one of these is true.

  • They asked “how much?” or “what does it cost?”. That is a question, not a yes. Answer it, and send the link when they say go.
  • There is more than one thing they might buy and they did not say which. Ask which, then send one link.
  • You have not agreed the scope yet. A link before the scope reads as pressure.
  • In a first email or a follow-up. Sealrep never adds a payment link there, and neither should you.
#after you send it

The reply you may get, and what to do next.

“Paid.”
Thank them, send the first step you promised within the hour, and book the kickoff. A USD payment through the link shows in Sealrep’s results ledger as verified once Stripe reports it.
“Can we split it into two payments?”
Decide before you answer. If yes, make a second offer at half the price in Stripe and send that link; do not change the price inside the email.
“The link shows a different price.”
Stop and check the offer. When you change an offer’s price in Sealrep, the old link is switched off and replies still waiting get the new link before anyone approves them.

What Sealrep does at this step.

  • A payment link only ever goes into an email reply, never a first email or a follow-up, and only when the reply is sorted as interested, a meeting request, a question or pricing and the buyer’s words show they want to pay: “send me the invoice”, “how do I pay”, “let’s go ahead”, “ready to start”, “sign me up”. “Not ready to start” does not count.
  • It needs exactly one active offer, or one the buyer named. The link is made in your own Stripe account and filled in for that person, so their email is already on the Stripe page.
  • The reply may carry the link once. A second copy is a blocking finding, and so is any other link.
  • A person approves every reply that carries a payment link; no setting changes that. Sealrep takes no cut: the money goes to your Stripe.

Questions people ask. Answered straight.

should I put the price in the email?

You can, but you do not need to: the Stripe page shows it. If you do write it, check it matches the offer, because a price that changes between the email and the payment page is a quick way to lose a yes.

what if they want to pay by bank transfer?

Then send an invoice with your bank details instead, and keep the link out of that reply. One way to pay per email keeps it simple.

does Sealrep send the link by itself?

No. Sealrep drafts the reply with the link when the buyer shows they want to pay, and it waits for a person to approve it. It is never sent on its own.
