Does Sealrep send email without my approval?
No. Nothing is sent until a person approves it: one email at a time, or a whole sequence at once, with undo before each send. No API key, webhook, Zap or AI tool can approve or send, and the Autonomy setting, which would let Sealrep approve a few narrow kinds of email itself, is switched off for everyone.

What approval-first means in Sealrep.
Sealrep writes every draft by itself and sends nothing by itself. Each draft lands in Approvals with who it is for, why Sealrep picked them and the facts it used. You can approve it as written, edit it first, skip it or snooze it.
An approval is tied to the exact text you read. If anyone changes a draft after you approve it, the waiting send is stopped and the draft comes back to you. Sealrep checks the send again just before it goes: the person has not replied, unsubscribed or bounced, the mailbox is still connected and the sending window is open.
That is what "approval-first" means at Sealrep: drafting is automatic, and sending needs a person.
One email, or a whole sequence at once.
Nothing is sent until a person approves it: one email at a time, or a whole sequence at once, with undo before each send.
- One at a time. Each email waits in Approvals until someone approves it.
- A whole sequence. A campaign set to approve by sequence writes every step at once and shows them as one card. "Approve all" releases the steps you saw. Each later step goes out on its own day with the same hold and undo as any other email.
- If the text of a later step changes before its day, it waits for a person again. A reply, a bounce, an unsubscribe or a stopped campaign cancels the steps that have not gone yet.
The undo window before each send.
After you approve, an email waits 10 minutes before it can go. A workspace owner can set this anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes. Undo during that time and the draft goes back to Approvals. A skip or a snooze can be reopened for 24 hours.
Who can approve, and what never can.
| Topic | How | Can it approve? |
|---|---|---|
| You, or a teammate with the approve right | In the app, one draft or a whole sequence | Yes |
| A link in your daily email | Single use, works for 48 hours, the text exactly as shown | Yes, without edits |
| An agency's client login | Only when the agency ticks the approve right | Yes, as written |
| The API, webhooks, Zapier, Make or n8n | They can prepare a draft that waits for you | No |
| Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP | They can prepare a draft that waits for you | No |
| Sealrep itself (Autonomy) | Built, switched off and unavailable for every account | No |
There is no API scope, webhook or MCP tool that approves, sends, posts, schedules or starts outreach. Those actions were left out of every door on purpose, and tests check that they stay out.
LinkedIn, X and Reddit are sent by you.
Sealrep never sends on LinkedIn, X or Reddit. It finds people and posts and drafts what you might write, and you post it yourself. See what Sealrep does on LinkedIn.
Even if Autonomy is ever made available, it would never cover first emails, replies that carry a payment link, drafts made through the API or MCP, or any channel other than email.
Questions people ask. Answered straight.
can I approve from my phone?
Yes. At 09:00 your time Sealrep emails each approver a list of waiting drafts, each with a single-use link that works for 48 hours. The link approves, skips or snoozes the text exactly as shown. To change the text, open the app.
what happens if someone edits an email after I approved it?
The waiting send is stopped and the draft goes back to Approvals. Nothing goes out until someone approves the new text.
is there a setting that sends without approval?
Not one you can switch on. The Autonomy setting is built but switched off and unavailable for every account, so every email waits for a person.
can my client approve emails for their own workspace?
Yes, if you run an agency and tick the approve right on their client login. They approve the text as written and cannot change it. See how agency client logins work.
