How many emails a day does a new mailbox send?
A new mailbox sends 5 emails on its first day and one more each day, up to 25 a day from day 21, inside each recipient's working hours. It pauses itself when hard bounces reach 3% of its last 7 days' sends, or when people who asked to stop reach 1% of them.

Twenty-one days from 5 a day to 25.
Every mailbox you connect starts on the same ramp: 5 emails on day 1 and one more each day. Nobody can raise a mailbox above 25 a day, and a workspace owner can set a lower cap. Days are counted in UTC, and the totals below are ceilings, not what a campaign will send.
| Topic | Most sent in total by then | Most emails that day |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | 5 | 5 |
| Day 5 | 35 | 9 |
| Day 10 | 95 | 14 |
| Day 15 | 180 | 19 |
| Day 21 | 315 | 25 |
| Each day after | 25 more a day | 25 |
Sealrep does not warm mailboxes and sends no warm-up mail. The ramp is a limit on real emails to the people you approved.
What else holds a send back.
- One first email per company a day, across every mailbox and campaign in the workspace. A second person at the same company waits for the next day.
- Three campaign emails a day to one recipient domain, first emails and follow-ups together. Replies are not counted.
- Two people per company per campaign by default. You can set 1 to 10.
- All mailboxes on one sending domain together send at most 3 times the highest ramp cap among them, so 75 a day once they are ramped. Sealrep warns you once a domain has 4 or more mailboxes.
- Fewer sends to some inboxes. By default a mailbox sends at most half its daily cap to people on Microsoft 365, and at most a fifth to people behind email security gateways.
- Spacing. Each send waits 2 to 9 random minutes after the mailbox's last one.
First emails and follow-ups go out on weekdays between 08:00 and 17:00 in the recipient's time zone, unless the campaign sets another window. Replies go out on weekdays between 07:30 and 19:00. Pacing only ever delays a send. It never speeds one up.
When a mailbox pauses itself.
Bounces
A mailbox pauses when hard bounces reach 3% of its sends over the last 7 days, once it has sent at least 20. A campaign pauses at 2%, also after 20 sends.
Why 3%: mail services read bounces as a sign of a bad list. Amazon SES, for example, asks senders to stay below 2% and puts an account under review at 5%[1]. Sealrep stops between the two, so a bad list is caught before it hurts the mailbox you own.
People who asked to stop
A mailbox pauses when people who asked to stop (one-click unsubscribes, "remove me", angry or legal replies) reach 1% of its last 7 days' sends, or 2% of a campaign's, counted after 50 sends. This is not a spam-complaint rate.
Gmail asks senders to keep the spam rate reported in its Postmaster Tools below 0.3%[2]. Postmaster Tools hides low volumes, so at 25 emails a day Sealrep cannot see that number. It counts the signals it can see instead. Clicks on the unsubscribe link in the footer are left out, because security scanners open links.
No replies at all
If a running campaign delivers 150 emails with no human reply after 7 days, Sealrep sends you a notice with a checklist, at most once every 14 days. It never pauses anything for this.
When a pause starts, the count restarts, so resuming is not undone by the same old bounces or complaints.

Questions people ask. Answered straight.
how long does it take to ramp up a new client inbox?
21 days from 5 emails a day to 25. Every mailbox follows the same ramp, and nobody can raise a mailbox above 25 a day.
can one mailbox send more than 25 a day?
No. To send more, connect more mailboxes, up to the number your plan allows. Mailboxes on one sending domain together stay under 3 times the ramp cap.
does Sealrep warm up my mailbox?
No. Sealrep does not sell, buy or warm mailboxes, and it sends no warm-up mail. The ramp limits real emails to people you approved.
is the 1% pause a spam-complaint rate?
No. It counts people who asked to stop: one-click unsubscribes, "remove me" replies, and angry or legal replies. Gmail's spam rate is a different number, measured in its Postmaster Tools.
