#credits

What is a credit?

A credit is how Sealrep prices the work that costs it money, such as researching a company or finding a verified email. Every plan adds credits each month and unused credits carry over. Each action's price is listed below from Sealrep's live price list, and a lookup that finds nothing costs nothing.

#plan plus credits

How credits come and go.

  • Monthly credits. A paid plan adds its credits every 30 days. They are added to what you have: unused credits carry over and never expire.
  • During the free trial you get a one-time starter amount of credits, once per person, not once per workspace. The plan's monthly credits start with your first paid month.
  • Held, then charged. Credits are held when a job starts and given back when it finds nothing or fails. A verified email is charged only when one is found and verified.
  • One balance. Plan credits and bought credits sit in one balance, so bought credits are never lost when a month ends.
  • Agencies. Credits are counted per client workspace, and an agency can set a monthly credit limit for each client.

You get a notice when your balance runs low. At zero, a job that needs credits does not run, and nothing is charged for it.

Credit packs, when you need more.

Credit packs are one-time top-ups that land in the same balance. Their sizes and prices are set in the app and listed in the table on this page, read live. When no pack is on sale, the table says so.

Upgrades and refunds.

Payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Upgrades are prorated: you pay only the difference for the rest of the billing period, and the upgrade adds the extra monthly credits straight away.

Stripe works out the difference when you change plans[1]. Plans, prices and how cancelling works are on the pricing page.

Credit packs

Credit packs are not on sale yet. Your plan’s credits roll over, so the ones you don’t use are still there next month.

Need more each month? A bigger plan adds more credits.
